Spring is a glorious time to enjoy the fresh growth of wild flowers that begin to poke through the last remnants of winter snow. Photographers love this time of year to snap shots of Ontario’s Trillium and capture birds as they flit about building nests to get ready for young. Culinary aficionados enjoy the leeks and fiddleheads, as well as various other edible plants found in our area. Naturalists will enjoy the large variety of new shoots, buds, flowers and flora & fauna that seem to multiply in the warm spring sun.
