The area has many hiking trails and forest access roads to explore on foot, both Grundy Lake Provincial Park & Restoule Provincial Park are located in this region.  Due to our large expanse of wilderness, there are endless opportunities to view wildlife, most often spotted are white tailed deer, moose, and red fox.

Fall is the time for family, for comfy socks & sweaters, reading or swapping stories around the fire, and large mugs of tea or hot chocolate.  Children will find joy in jumping in fresh piles of autumn leaves, enjoying a campfire under a blanket of brilliant stars at night, and the endless opportunity to explore the natural world.  The many resorts & lodges of the Loring-Restoule region, are known for playing host to family reunions, holiday traditions and large group getaways.
